BuroHappold named in six awards at the Middle East Architect Awards 2011

From Engineering Company of the Year to Engineer of the Year - our engineering talent shines.

BuroHappold’s lead as consulting engineers in creating innovative, valuable and sustainable architectural design solutions across the Middle East has been recognised with six major awards at the 2011 Middle East Architect Awards held in Dubai. The gala awards ceremony was held at the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray on Wednesday 14th September.

Held for the fourth year running, the Middle East Architect Awards recognise the best projects and most talented professionals working within the region across 13 categories. BuroHappold has won the ultimate accolade of being named Engineering Company of the Year 2011. The judging panel also highlighted Aino Mina, Afghanistan by architects Aedas working with BuroHappold as a standout project praising it as being: "An indigenous and contemporary project which is set to make a positive impact on the lives of so many".
