Buro Happold’s Energy Director, Alasdair Young, will be chairing Energy Conversations on 9th November at The Building Centre in London.

A series of talks, debates and discussions around the supply and use of energy, Energy Conversations asks what direction we should follow when considering the future of low carbon national infrastructure. With the vast array of technological capability at our disposal, should we be decommissioning nuclear power plants and use carbon capture and storage to maximise our fossil fuel reserves? What happens if we rely too much on unpredictable renewable energy like wind power? Experts and leaders from the energy and environment industries, along with policy makers, will discuss these issues and more to vote on the best approach for Britain.

Speakers include:
Jeremy Leggett, Solar Century
Chris Goodall, Carbon Commentary
Peter North, Greater London Authority
