Edinburgh

Buro Happold’s growing portfolio of successful construction projects in Scotland led to the opening of our Edinburgh office in May 2006. Opening exactly 30 years to the day after the practice established its first office in Bath, this important expansion of our Scottish operation has helped further develop our existing client relationships and form new ones in and around the city.

Based in a building that our own team sympathetically redeveloped to the highest sustainability criteria the office on Bread Street is staffed by an experienced multi-disciplinary team of building, infrastructure and environmental engineers.

Backed up by the extensive resources of a large international company, the team offers the added benefits of detailed knowledge of local markets, regulations and socio-economic issues. Projects from our Edinburgh Office include John Hope Gateway, Sighthill Campus Napier University and the Scottish Centre for Regenerative Medicine.
