Placements / Internships
As part of our commitment to nurturing the engineers of tomorrow, Buro Happold’s student placement/internship programme enables talented young school leavers and students the chance to explore engineering as a career.
Students working at Buro Happold can gain invaluable on-the-job experience either before beginning their formal studies or entering the workplace.
Students on a placement will be involved in current live projects enabling them to sample different disciplines and fields to discover which best match their interests and abilities. Supervisors are assigned to each student to ensure their experience is useful, rewarding and enjoyable.
Placements generally run for a period of eight weeks between June and September although applications for a 12 month placement are also considered.

You are able to save your application at any time and return to complete and submit it when you are happy. Once you have submitted your application you can track its progress whenever you like by visiting the application tracking facility.
The selection process for Student Placements is similar to the graduate process - the Student Placement vacancies will be live on our website from 5th November 2012, though the application closing and interview dates will not be the same but you will be able to track your applications progress online.
