Technical Studies

Buro Happold conducts a range of technical studies to support environmental impact assessments.  In general, these involve the review of relevant legislation and regulations, collation of available background information, collection of baseline data, projection of future baseline conditions, assessment of the likely impacts of a proposed scheme and the development of mitigation measures to avoid or minimise impacts.  One of the primary objectives of conducting technical studies is to identify the key constraints and opportunities associated with a site or proposal and development of designs that minimise impacts and optimise positive environmental benefits.

A wide range of our core environmental skills are brought to bear in the preparation of technical studies.
