Museum of Liverpool

Positioned on the Mann Island at Pier Head, which lies at the heart of the World Heritage Site on Liverpool's famous waterfront and next to The Three Graces, this £65m museum will provide 10,000m,2 of exhibition space.

The museum will be a showcase for social history and popular culture, looking at the world through the eyes of Liverpool's people. Architecturally, the museum's design features inclined or elevated platforms that gradually form a sculptural iconic structure. All surfaces will slope down to the public promenade that runs along the Docks.
