David Hull

Born 1960. Dave studied building services engineering at Newcastle University and joined Buro Happold in 1991, becoming a Principal in 1997. He leads building services engineering design in the Buro Happold Leeds office. He is a Chartered Engineer and Member of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers.

Pragmatic to the last, Dave Hull enters every project with an open and enquiring mind, and without any preconceived ideas. With an excellent sense of process, he values both customer care and delivering projects to budget and programme. He's the sort of person who gets things done. He written a building services design guide to share best practice advice to other engineers. Dave is a great believer in coaching and strives to open windows of opportunity to his younger colleagues. He also has a profound grasp of the commercial aspects of project work, such as contracting and associtated obligations.
