Trevor Curson has over 25 years broad-based environmental experience in consultancy and local government. He joined the Environmental team at Buro Happold’s London office in 2006 to strengthen the environmental group and increase the range of services the team can contribute to Buro Happold projects.

Trevor’s first project involved presenting evidence to the House of Commons Select Committee into Crossrail on behalf of petitioners, concerning the future impacts of construction dust. Trevor has also been involved in high-profile projects, including his role as project director on the environmental contracts being carried out as part of the construction of Arsenal’s new Emirates Stadium.

The Buro Happold Environment group provide environmental scoping studies, authority consultation, environmental impact assessment, preparation and review of environmental statements and facilitation of public participation and consultation. The effective integration of environmental assessment and design teams to develop sustainable and environmentally sensitive solutions can minimise impacts and the need for expensive mitigation. Combining the specialist skills of our multi-disciplinary environmental assessment team with those of external experts can make a positive difference to the project outcome.
