Tim joined Buro Happold in 2001, with over 20 years’ experience as a designer and project manager in building and structural engineering projects. He is responsible for promoting and developing collaborative working skills and project management within multi-disciplinary projects.

Initially, Tim worked on the latter stages of the Bur Juman Centre project in Dubai, the major extension and refurbishment of a luxury retail complex, by steering design completion and project close-out. He has since become involved in other high-profile projects, including the the construction of Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium on a brownfield regeneration site.

Buro Happold’s design management team apply a wide range of professional skills to co-ordinate and optimise the design process, with the aim of ensuring that the delivery of a project exceeds our clients’ expectations. This includes advising on scope, procurement strategy, objectives and organisational structure, preparing design briefs and appointment details, establishing project financial structure and controls, developing and monitoring project execution plans and establishing communication routes and information management procedures.
