Simon Bourke

Simon Bourke, a chartered engineer with over 20 years experience in the building services industry, joined Buro Happold’s Leeds office in 1998. He is currently responsible for leading the building services group.

Simon has worked on a number of high profile projects including the Wakefield Hospitals PFI project to regenerate the Pinderfields and Pontefract hospitals, and the Sheffield Winter Garden project as part of the redevelopment of the city centre. Simon also led the Georgian Theatre project in Richmond, North Yorkshire, to restore and renovate the only surviving working Georgian theatre in the UK.
