Martin Duffy

Martin Duffy joined Buro Happold’s Bath office in 1997, as the Director for Highways and Transport, with 14 years experience in the public sector working with local authorities. In 2004 he founded the Management Consultancy group in order to deliver strategic advice to public and private sector clients, and has been responsible for advising on procurement and efficiency issues for a wide range of clients.

Martin has also been involved in a number of government and industry initiatives. For example, from 2001 he held a senior position with the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister in the Strategic Partnering Taskforce.

Martin has spoken at numerous conferences on behalf of Buro Happold, the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE), the Association of Consulting Engineers (ACE) and the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM) on the subjects of performance management, partnership models, Best Value and Gershon efficiency savings.
