Justin Phillips joined Buro Happold’s Bath office in 1996, with over 17 years experience as a geotechnical and geoenvironmental consultant, working on a range of projects including highways, infrastructure, stadia, building and land reclamation projects in the UK and overseas. He is currently responsible for the geotechnical and contamination aspects on a varied portfolio of projects from feasibility through all stages of design to construction supervision, working in the UK, Europe, United States, Caribbean, North Africa and the Middle East.

In particular Justin has worked as a project geotechnical leader on developments including the Millennium Dome and O2 Arena in London, Battersea Power Station regeneration in London, and Al Khiran Pearl City in Kuwait.

Buro Happold’s geotechnical engineers are involved at an early stage of the design process to evaluate the subsoil and identify solutions for deep and shallow foundations. Working within the overall multi-disciplinary environment, our specialist engineers provide a quality service across a diverse range of sectors including low and high-rise buildings, brownfield regeneration sites, waterside developments, transport buildings, bridges and highways. The group operates throughout the UK as well as in Europe, the Middle East and the USA.
