Terry Ealey

Born 1945. Studied civil and structural engineering at Bristol University, followed by a Masters Degree in concrete design and technology at Imperial College London. A founder of Buro Happold, Terry was a resident Principal in the Middle East for many years. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Structural Engineers and a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers.
 
An engineer's engineer, Terry Ealey's wizardry with rationalising complex logistics is respected throughout Buro Happold. His expertise covers project management, physics, marine infrastructure, civil and structural engineering. Terry is also sought out for his meticulous organisational skill and thoroughness. A generous collaborator, he derives great satisfaction from working with teams and individuals alike. Terry shares the philosophy held by Buro Happold's founder, Ted Happold, that problems and their solutions are meaningless without the people who both thrive on them, and delight in them.
