Alan Regan

Alan Regan joined Buro Happold in 2006, bringing 20 years of experience, with most of it in the aviation sector. His expertise includes development management, programme and project management, operational planning and support, master planning and business consultancy.

From his first director sector appointment working for the operations division of the Hong Kong Airport Authority, his knowledge has been built upon with placements in key client organisations including Aer Rianta and British Airways. Prior to joining Buro Happold, Alan was extensively involved in airport acquisitions and privatisation transactions. His breadth of experience has been enhanced from having worked as a client, client’s agent, consultant and contractor.

Since joining Buro Happold Alan has been expanding the companies activity in the sector. Projects include the Hajj Terminal BTO, in Jeddah, Gibraltar Airport new terminal, Birmingham International Airport pier development, London City Airport terminal development, Government Fleet Hangars at Riyadh and Jeddah Airports; and Pulkovo Airport in St.Petersburgh.

Alan currently sits on the board of the British Aviation Group (BAG) and is chairman of its Airport Consultants Group (ACG) sub-committee.
