Whether awards are made for our work on large-scale, high profile multi-disciplinary projects or for smaller, niche jobs where a particular innovation has made all the difference, we equally value the recognition for our services.
Buro Happold has also been honoured with some of the industry’s most prestigious awards including the MacRobert award for the Millennium Dome and, on two separate occasions, the Queen’s Award for Enterprise.
Our people are also regular recipients of awards: in 2005 Michael Dickson, a founder, was honoured with a CBE for services to engineering and one of our newer employees, Gavin Jones, a fire safety engineer, won the Building Young Achiever of the Year Award for his innovative work on large projects and research with the ODPM into safe evacuation of the disabled.
