Following today's announcement about the world trade centre redevelopment by PANY and LMDC

26 February 2003

Following today’s announcement about the World Trade Centre redevelopment by PANY and LMDC:

Craig Schwitter, partner, Buro Happold, comments “Naturally, we are disappointed that the Team Think proposal for the site at Ground Zero has not been finally selected. However, as engineers we are not disheartened. Being part of such an inspiring and creative team has been a great experience for us here at Buro Happold.” Schwitter continues, “Working alongside the architect and other members of team think has been an amazing experience in itself. Their collective imagination and creative energy are inspiring. I’d like to thank them for letting us be part of the Team Think entry.”

Tony McLaughlin, partner, Buro Happold, added “Along the way during the development of this exciting competition, we’ve been able to draw the attention of the architectural and development community in our city to the importance of designing sustainable and environmental solutions into buildings. I’d like to think that the inspired creativity of Team Think will still be carried forward in New York in projects in the near future.”
