Buro Happold transport planning group expanding
The transport planning group within the infrastructure transport and engineering division of Buro Happold continues to grow. The group is led by Martin Duffy who has been involved in highways and transportation for the past twenty years, holding transportation positions with two local authorities prior to joining Buro Happold. Duffy is an advisor to the office of the Deputy Prime Minister on procurement issues in the transport and environment sectors and is a recognised authority on public private sector partnerships.
Nick Helps has this month been appointed as an Associate with the Buro Happold transport planning group in Bath, where he will work with Duffy in developing the firm's public sector transport planning business. Previously a transport planning team leader at Wiltshire County Council, Helps will continue to provide consultancy support for Wiltshire’s Local Transport Plan Annual Progress Report submission until July 2003.
