Building on Brownfield Sites seminar, Leeds

Building on brownfield sites may strike some landowners, investors or property developers as a legal liability. However, if approached correctly and with the right advisors the benefits can far exceed any potential risks.

VAT relief, tax breaks, government guidance and the possibility of priority planning permission are some of the potential benefits available to companies who build on brownfield sites.
Consulting engineers Buro Happold, law firm Addleshaw Booth & Co, property developers GMI Rovinian and Leeds City Council are hosting a free remediation seminar on 27 November 2002 in Leeds to advise public and private companies about the current climate in Leeds, planning permission routes and the legal and technical implications of acquiring a contaminated site.
