“Our work for the Millennium Dome and the Lords' Media Centre made us realise that we had skills in these two areas in-house, and that we have great potential for taking forward ideas and innovation in these two important fields”, comments partner Peter Moseley. “Our new in house lighting design and acoustic consultancy complement our mainstream activities, to provide a comprehensive Building Services portfolio. Building Services currently accounts for about 40% of our 600 people strong practice, and the future for our specialist engineers currently looks particularly buoyant”.
The new services are based in Buro Happold's Bath and London offices. “With the increase in our service offer, we are already in a position to grow both our lighting design and acoustic teams,” concluded Moseley. “I'd be delighted to talk to any talented and ambitious engineers from either discipline who are interested in joining us.
