The Happold Brilliant Award was first suggested by Ted Happold. It is made annually by the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineering to a university department that is judged to have taught the best balanced, accredited course in the discipline. The recipient is awarded a glass bowl at the CIBSE’s annual president’s dinner as well as a financial prize.
