Since its early days, Buro Happold has evolved in scope, size and stature. The practice has chosen to follow a path of organic growth, in part to preserve rather than dilute the prevailing culture. Since being founded from one small office in Bath, today Buro Happold employs nearly 1700 staff worldwide, in 19 international offices located in seven countries.
Buro Happold principals recognise that its people are the practice and that investment in the business is a pre-requisite if they are to reach their potential. We are currently extensively refurbishing and improving our offices in Bath, Berlin and Warsaw to create better work environments that support multi-disciplinary integration and creative thinking.
Our IT systems are continually under review to ensure that we provide the best possible service to clients, support the firm’s growth and improve connectivity and knowledge sharing between offices. New initiatives include the redevelopment of our intranet and the implementation of a new CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system which will be in place by the end of 2007.
