Lectures
With the Construction Industry Council (CIC), the Trust sponsors the annual Happold Medal Lecture. This is held every two years on a topic agreed by the Executive Board of CIC as being of national significance. In honour of the occasion the lecturer receives the Happold Medal, which is designed by Kenneth Grange in the modern idiom.

The Royal Society of Arts (RSA) also holds a lecture in Ted Happold’s name every other year, which always focuses on a visionary topic within engineering. This lecture aims to capture the spirit of Ted’s optimism and vision.
